About FC Software

First Contact Software Ltd was formed in 2008 with one purpose in mind.

That purpose was to deliver an easy to use, efficient, light and fast CRM solution to SME class business while maintaining a sector leading support facility for our clients.

Why did we do this?

Well it all started when David Hinchliffe (Managing Director) and Lester Fennell (Sales Director) were working for another CRM specialist company.
The CRM we were selling was massively complex with tonnes of features and facilities 90% of which nobody ever used. All these features added to the massive size of the product making it heavy and slow. While 10% or so of our clients were ideal matches to the CRM we were selling at the time the remainder were having to make do with paying a small fortune in license costs for a product that was really just jury rigged to work the way they wanted to work.

We spent some time talking to the smaller clients finding out exactly what they wanted to do with their CRM Solution and what they needed from the system. The overriding response was they wanted something fast which displayed all the information they wanted on one screen. They didn't want to be clicking down a rabbit warren of sub sections to get to the information they wanted.

With this in mind we (mainly Dave) decided we could do better and write something better.

The result is the B2B CRM solution from FC Software. This is the first of 3 core products we offer and is tailored for B2B style businesses. It achieves all our goals of being incrediably fast and yet immensely easy to use. It is so easy in fact that even non-IT literate people or people that traditionally struggle with business IT solutions and require lots of training can jump straight in using our product with ZERO training required.

As for our goal of making something light and fast. We've checked around and tested other CRM solutions on the market and even with a million + records within our sytem our page load times NEVER exceed 1 second to put this into perspective the closest rival CRM takes 5 seconds to load a record from its data base with only 5000 records overall within its system.

When we get chance we will be posting some official benchmark comparisons between products but for the mean time take the demo and find out just how fast it is for yourself.

Having our first product in production now we are looking at expanding into B2C CRM's tailored for telesales and marketing heavy companies pitching to individuals and finally our Charity CRM solution which is currently in development.

One of our final key focus points for FC Software was to create an unrivalled customer support experience. We have no call centers and no first line tech support who are trained only to read from a script of common issues. When you sign up for an FC Software product you are assigned a developer as your primary technical support contact. Any time you contact FC Software either via our web portal or telephone you will always be able to ask to speak directly to your developer to resolve your issue immediately!

No other CRM provider is so confident in their product that they are willing to put their core product developers on the front line. We ARE that confident.
